<description>I am not considered a needy homeowner but we do not have that kinda of cash to afford a contractor to plan and build a ramp. Neither do many wheelchair users I know. I thinbk its very sad that just because they try to work hard and support themselves but cannot afford extras due to bills, etc or just getting by that they are left out of the calls for help! It seems to me that if low cost or free help were provided it would hekp get them mobile easier and maybe more productive. I have a ramp that is way too steep but I use it because I need to. One of my friends flipped backwards in his wheelchair because his ramp is too steep to try to get inside his home without a running start. If I can advocate for others and help in some wat, there are many polio survivors that need help even though they are productive.

Thank you,
